Same Sex Wedding Invitations
Chris and Kevin contacted us last year to design their same sex wedding invitations. Their wedding was going to have a very regal look with purple, red and gold. They wanted their invitation to be designed with a regal monogram and crest The invitations were printed with gold foil on a suede soft-feel cardstock in rich purples and red. The gold cardstock envelopes were printed with the guests’ address in a rich purple color and custom stamps were designed for the outer envelopes and rsvp envelopes
We also design signs for most of our weddings. This large poster welcome sign greeted the guests as they entered the wedding.
Gold menus were designed with their monogram and looked amazing on top of the red napkins and clear chargers. Gold and red placecards were designed for each place setting. The wedding was intimate and the table was one very long table and the guests found their seat as they mingled during cocktail hour.
We love when the wedding is branded with our designs. For Chris and Kevin’s wedding, we took the same monogram and crest from their same sex wedding invitations and designed two logos that were used through the wedding. The monogram was used for the lighting on the wall, on their ice sculpture and also on custom chair sashes. We also made custom cocktail napkins in a deep purple and gold foil.
We had the distinctive honor to have Chris and Kevin’s same sex wedding invitations featured on Equally Wed. See more photos and read about their story!
