Keri contacted me after attending Stacie’s wedding and falling in love with her seating chart. She asked me to design a beach themed seating plan with pink butterflies.
Maggie’s coordinator, Misty from Bells and Bliss, designed a beautiful theme for her weddings – grapes! I can’t wait to see the photos from today’s wedding. Maggie’s chart is my new favorite. I designed table numbers with a line for the charitable donation and programs. I also designed her bar menu with her signature martini.
When we started discussing Rachel’s invitation design, Rachel didn’t have any ideas for the graphic and said this is where she got stuck when she was originally going to DIY. Her ceremony is in the gardens at Addison Oaks. One thing that did come to mind was her Crate and Barrel placesetting! I originally used […]
Julie’s save the dates are classic yet modern with a fun layout of the fonts and the gold side flap envelopes. Her colors are aubergene and gold. This is by far my most popular color combination this fall. The eggplant amethyst color paired with gold will be a surprise for her guests.
If you’re in Michigan, you can pick up a copy of The Knot Michigan. Kate and Mike’s amazing June wedding is featured on a four-page spread and three of my items are pictured! Thanks again to Jessica Johnston for capturing such amazing images.
I LOVE working at home. Don’t get me wrong, it has its downsides (like I’m always at work). But I’m able to raise my son, go on playdates, go on field trips, etc. while I work, more than fulltime, from home. Also in the house, is my cat, Boco. He is extremely social and is […]
Jennifer had contacted me to do her invitations and then ironically received my invitation for Indre in the mail. Jennifer told me that her entire wedding was inspired from her favorite flower, the star gazer lily. The flowers of course will be the lilies, but also all of the colors, blush pink and brown were […]
Marla wanted a very modern and chic monogram for her invitations. The M|M was picked among six monograms that I designed. This soft and slightly textured card is a new favorite of mine. The corners were rounded to give the invitation a more contemporary look. The RSVP is something I’ve wanted to do for years […]
Ali’s mom, Susan, contacted me for Ali’s October wedding. Daniel had written Ali a very beautiful poem when they first started dating and they wanted to use the poem for inspiration on all of the pieces. The wedding is also taking a vintage look to it, so I designed these with the first line of […]
Julie’s Garden Wedding Invitations used one of my favorite fonts, so far this season. I continued the same fun fonts on her menus – fuschia and brown for an amazing splash of color. The table numbers are a beautiful apple green and brown with the floral pattern along the bottom. And her seating chart was […]
I’ve been talking to Andrea for nearly a year. When we first started talking about design, Andrea told me that she would best describe her & her fiance as preppy. When I think of preppy, I think of argyle. That became the design for her awesome bumper sticker save the dates. I designed this patterned […]
Tara contacted me and had a special request for her peony wedding invitations. She needed her invitations in both English and Chinese. I’ve always wanted to do Chinese wedding invitations – the characters are just so gorgeous. Tara knew she wanted a tea length invitation and she liked the idea of the Chinese text being […]
Brett’s record album wedding invitations are one of my all time favorite invitations this season. I continuted the Chicago skyline from her wedding invitations and made these awesome Chicago skyline menus that are really long and fun. The programs were very subdued for the church ceremony and are designed just with their monogram. My favorite […]
Tracy from You’re the Bride suggested that Crystal contact me for her invitations. Crystal and Christopher’s wedding will be a motorcycle theme, but Crystal wanted very elegant invitations. She searched and searched for motorcycle wedding invitations and found nothing but cheesy invitations. I was thrilled to do something so different and Crystal was so much […]
