Amy has some incredible details! I made round reserved signs for the back of the chairs at the ceremony. But I made each one custom with the title of the person. She’ll be attaching them to really large ribbon that wraps around the chairs. I also made these pretty blue and brown placecards with their […]
I’ve done invitations with a foreign language before, but Indre’s were so fun with the Lithuanian wording and over 70% of the invitations were done in Lithuanian! These invitations were inspired by Indre’s wedding invitations that will be debuting in a few weeks. 🙂
I loved Courtney shabby-chic damask invitations and was thrilled to make her programs. We did them as a single card with the black damask print at the bottom.
Kayley is doing a more vintage theme for her wedding. “Elegance with lots of lace” she said. I took that cue and made these pretty lace-like pattern. I’m putting these inside matching light pink envelopes that I’ll be addressing.
When I designed these adorable Save the Dates for Gina, the new Martha Stewart wasn’t on the newsstands or the new Bride and Bloom. Butterflies are everywhere! It’s nice to see a new trend coming out – butterflies are the new birds. 😉 I just love the color combination and the little hint of the […]
I designed these beautiful reception extras to coordinate with Alice’s gatefold invitations. The seating chart, appetizer menu, bar menu, table numbers, and candy buffet sign all incorporate the leaf & swirl pattern.
I’ve done destination wedding invitations before, but these invitations for Shannon’s wedding in Italy were so much fun to design. I made them into a booklet style invitation. We needed a ton of information inside for travel and this style invitation was the perfect solution. I did a olive branch theme on the invitations and […]
I get asked this question all of the time. Or I’m told that the name is perfect. But I never go into the details and history behind the name. It is too long and likely, too boring for someone that I’m talking to. I usually just answer that I wanted a company name where the […]
Christina has one of my favorite invitations ever. I loved the black damask design, but I especially loved her fonts with the lower case text. When Christina asked me if I could do something new, I jumped at the chance. So I’m now introducing custom coat check tags! I am so excited about these and […]
I often get asked if I ever have “down time”. Being in Michigan, there is a definite wedding season here. January through March is off season. Halls offer discounted rates and vendors are all looking for weddings to make it through those winter months. My own wedding was in March 10 years ago so I […]
I follow invitation blogs from around the nation and so many designers have posted their Christmas cards I decided to post mine too!
Joanie contacted me last summer. She had fallen in love with Tori’s invitation but the custom pocket was a little out of her price range. She sent me pics of her cake and told me how much she loved circles. I had always wanted to do a round invitation. Not only did we do the […]
As I completed Elyn’s wedding and moved her folder from Current to Completed, I realized that yet another year has gone by. I took just a moment to look back at one of the most dynamic years of my business. I had some of the most amazing brides this year. From the ones that would […]
Elyn’s invitations are one of my favorite’s, with the fun Eiffel Tower invitations and French postage theme that went throughout the pieces. The reception was also so much fun to work on. The table numbers are replications of street signs in Paris! Right down to the green and blue. We also did matching placecards that […]
