Well, I have done one to Canada, but since I’m so close to Canada and she drove to get it, that doesn’t quite count. ๐ Nancy is in the United Kingdom! The only obstacle that we had was the long mail time on the cheque. ๐ But Nancy was able to locate a printer that […]
Jennifer invitations were one of the craziest combinations I’ve done – Aqua and Red. I couldn’t wait to work on her reception piece. The seating chart is crazy with the design and colors and the table numbers match that in the bright colors. Jennifer probably has one of my favorite monograms with the date curled […]
And then these were delivered early because Betsey’s mother is going to do calligraphy for her addresses and they needed time to complete that. Black with champagne and ivory are my favorite combinations. I love the formalness of these invitations, but at the same time, they are modern with the formal graphic set off to […]
Melissa’s Damask wedding invitations were delivered right on schedule. ๐ Having done green and brown damask before it was fun to do another set, but one that was a little more formal. The invitation is pretty with a green background to set off the brown damask. We did custom stamps on the RSVP postcards to […]
This was the oddest week for invitation orders. This October wedding may seem a little late. But Andrea approached me just last month and asked if I’d do her invitations for her intimate Royal Park Hotel wedding in October. Andrea’s wedding was originally scheduled in April but they were in a terrible car accident and […]
I just posted Jennifer’s Destination wedding invitations last week. Since most people won’t be able to attend the wedding, they are also doing a reception at home. We did the same design, but did something more subdued with colors. I did my first panel with the back side completely a different color. We did keep […]
Ashley contacted me to do her Seating Scroll for her Ohio wedding. I happened to own the same graphic that was used on her invitations and we added this pretty monogram and menu to the chart.
GOBO from Rent-A-DJ I’ve had the pleasure of designing tons of items that have been used at wedding receptions, but more often than not, those items are paper. It usually slips my mind to bring it up, but I enjoy designing non-paper items too! One of my favorite things to design are GOBOs. So, if […]
Lindsay’s “theme” is swanky art deco martini bar. ๐ I had loads of fun with my first ever three layered 4×9 invitation. The colors are fun, but formal in hot pink, silver and black. To stay on budget, we put the reception info on the invitation and we did a rsvp postcard. Another envelope sash […]
I loved working on these amazingly fun invitations. The colors are fresh and different and definitely reflect the beach, palm tree destination wedding Jennifer was going for, without being “here’s a palm tree on my invitation”. I used brown palm leaf patterned cardstock and layered it with sea blue. I printed a matching graphic across […]
I was so excited when I added this line to my company. Andrea was wonderful enough to change from her brown pocketfold to this new pocketfold without ever even seeing it. I used the same swirl design on the invitation, but she wanted to make it fall. So I combined the swirls with these very […]
Shannon lives in Chicago, but her wedding is going to be held at the Falkner Winery in Temecula, California. Her situation was unique that there was a ton of info to include in the invitations, but her budget didn’t allow for a ton of inserts. We did a single layered panel, but we did this […]
Joanie may have the craziest invitations I’ve done to date. But they don’t come out until December and I’m saving the surprise until then. ๐ In the meantime, she asked if I’d design her postcard Save the Dates that she had printed at VistaPrint.com . The inspiration for her design??? Her kitchen rug!
Rachel asked if I would do her magnet save the dates for her May 2009 wedding. I love doing save the dates because they are a diversion for me. ๐ She purchased the magnets through MagnetStreet.com and this adorable picture was taken by Terrie Stearns-Johnson of Natural Eye Photography.
Another seating chart for wedding, this one came through Misty at Bells and Bliss. The colors are taupe and varying shades of purple and I really like the monogram covering the entire seating chart.
