Brittany choose a very pretty swirled graphic for her invitation. I did three proofs and she choose this fun one with the bold color. But she said she kept seeing an old man in the graphic (see the last picture). He’s complete with eyebrows and moustache! I did too and unfortunately the graphic was not […]
Yep, that’s right. Molly asked if I would design custom guitar picks for her. As part of her gift to her future husband, she wanted to include guitar picks. I had fun designing something totally different than wedding invitations – and something far more “guy” than “girl”. She had them made at Steve Clayton and […]
Months ago I mentioned to Molly that I always wanted to do an over the top menu. I’ve seen menus in the past that are an explanation of the evening. Molly loved the idea of continuing her booklet theme from her invitations. We ended up doing these even more custom and personalized the menus with […]
Molly and Carl mentioned that they wanted their monogram to have a roman numeral date. I’ll be honest, I was NOT feeling it. I lived with it for days and then got the thought to do the roman numerals as though they are engraved. When I got done, I warned Molly everything was going to […]
I’ve been anticipating these invitations for a long time. They really are one of my favorite all time set. Again, on this set, I’ve made each and every element of the invitation new and like a little surprise. The bright, deep purple pocketfolds have a large seal on the front that is attached in a […]
At Elizabeth’s consult, she mentioned that she wanted to do a subtle diamond theme for her invitations. We discussed adding a Swarovski Crystal somewhere on the invitations. Over time, we dropped that idea and Elizabeth decided she wanted the diamond more in the way the graphic was presented. When searching for something totally unrelated, I […]
I really loved Stephanie’s invitations and especially envelopes. She did a stephanotis graphic and I used the graphic in different ways. I really like the cover of the programs and the green page inside is a little surprise. I also designed a monogram that we used on the unity candle, table numbers and this awesome […]
I did Yvonne’s fun swirl wedding invitations and got to work on this great seating chart. I was able to get lots of her swirls in an around the seating plan to tie back to the invitations.
Garden Theme and Damask sure are the big things this year. Cami has a VERY colorful wedding and reception that choosing colors was difficult. Cami decided to go with Slate Grey and I think the choice was wonderful. We matched the graphic to the slate grey. She accented the pieces with lavender metallic envelopes and […]
I don’t even know what to call this pattern! It is not really damask, and not plumes, but they are more than scrolls. Whatever it is, I love how different these are. We did the bold red invitation with the text set off center on the invitation. She is my first bride to go for […]
Alysia is another It’s a Shore Thing Bride. She is getting married at Eden Gardens State Park in Santa Rosa Beach, FL and wanted a very garden feel to the invitations. She was thrilled when we found this fleur de lis graphic that has the garden feel, but masculine also. Her envelopes in pale green […]
Since Jennifer told me her color combination – blue and red – I’ve been anticipating these invitations. When we first talked about it, she said she wanted red backing with white invitation printed with blue accents. But white really isn’t in her color combination and, to me, adding white makes the invitations patriotic. So I […]
I really love doing programs like this – a long piece of cardstock. Stacey has such a fun color combinations – light green, bright green and orange. These green programs are fun, but still elegant.
Every once in a while I get asked to do a more traditional invitation. Lisa’s is what I think of as more traditional, but with fun modern elements. The hot pink elements on the invitation, postcard RSVP and the custom stamps on the outer envelope were just that.
Nadia contacted me a few weeks ago about doing her seating chart. With only 50 guests we did a smaller version than I typically do. Her theme – pears. We added a photo of two pears with the saying “may we all be halves of perfect pairs”.
