Carnival Wedding Invitations

Weddings at old theme parks and carnival theme weddings just might be the best theme EVER for a wedding.  We designed this adorable carnival wedding invitations suite for a wedding held at Glen Echo Park.  The color of the invitations was classic carnival – red and aqua and had so many carnival theme details.

The carnival wedding invitations started with a vintage carousel design.  The fonts for the invitation were all done with vintage carnival poster type.  The wording was fun and relaxed and contained the reception information too.  The wording “dinner, dancing and wicked good fun is just adorable.

The entire wedding suite was wrapped with a custom made belly band designed to look like carnival tickets with the couple’s logo.  Then this entire package was wrapped with red and white baker’s twine, a red scallop tag with the monogram printed in red on aqua blue.

The response postcard for these carnival wedding invitations was designed with a strength tester (also known as a high striker) and the guest’s replied declaring that they were “strong” and coming to the wedding or “weak” and couldn’t make it.  The mailer envelopes were designed with a top flap and envelope label wraps cut to look like a carnival ticket.
