First Birthday Circus Theme Invitations

These invitations are definitely the most “over the top” invitations that I have ever done for a non-wedding event.  Carolena’s parents through an amazing circus theme birthday party at The Townsend Hotel and they wanted their guests to get amazing invitations to reflect that theme.

The invitations were designed like a circus poster and featured a big top and clown.  I love some of the personal touches on these invitations, like the parents being refered to as “The Ringmasters”.  There were even Swarovski crystals on the invitation next to Carolena’s name.

One of the most fun and unexpected part of this invitation was that the invitation was mounted to a bag of candy popcorn!  I custom ordered the colors of the popcorn to match the color theme of the invitation.  The rsvp postcard featured the clown on his unicycle holding balloons that were designed as the stamp.

The invitations were mailed in bright red boxes and sealed shut with a wrap around label. The clowns balloons wrapped around to the back with the return address.

More custom stamps were designed for the front and the two stamps together completed the picture.
