Introducing the "Lindsay" Invitation

If you are looking for something totally different, this invitation may be it. I was inspired by an older issue of Martha Stewart Weddings where they featured a long accordian, fold out program. I saw it and thought “I could make that into an invitation”. When Lindsay came to me with a smaller budget, I thought of this invitation because it could be made with all paper. The invitation folds out into this long piece with all of the information in one location. When folded up, the front acts as a cover and they are wrapped with these pretty hot pink sashes with the guest’s names. You may wonder why there are two colors of envelopes. Keith would NOT send out hot pink envelopes to his father’s military buddies so everyone compromised and we did two sets – pink for Lindsay and green for Keith. 🙂 This invitation would be beautiful with cardstock cover panels on the front and back. And I would love to do this one again as a long fold out piece of cardstock.
