Letterpress!

My first of many this year, I was so excited for Jody’s letterpress invitations. I love the new trend to do blind debossing – pressing in a graphic with no ink. Jody is doing an English Garden theme at her wedding and she wanted a rose graphic. We used the roses in a very dominant fashion – along the entire bottom half of the invitation and up the right side. But because there is no ink, the dominant graphic is very subtle. Jody also loved the idea of an old world look with a deckled edge at the bottom. And the final letterpress item is another blind debossed item – a beautiful deep burgundy sash debossed with their amazing monogram. I did the inserts, envelopes and thank you cards myself to complete the set.
