I love designing New Year’s Eve invitations. Our client from The China Closet was engaged in Paris and they wanted their save the dates and invitations to have a Paris theme. New Years Eve in Paris invitations, save the dates, and all of the wedding decór is stunning with images of the Eiffel Tower in different parts of all of the pieces. We start with a black suede-feel gatefold invitation. Then the invitation has all gold metallic ink. The Eiffel Tower with fireworks is on the top of the invitation. Gold glitter is behind the invitation and almost a requirement for a festive New Year’s Eve wedding invitation.

A gold glitter band wraps around the black gatefold invitation to keep it closed. The seal closes the band and the Eiffel Tower image with the fireworks has the words “Soirée d’amour”. This means “evening of love” in French.

French phrases are used throughout the Paris invitations. Répondez s’il vous plaît means “Please respond” or literally, “Reply if you please”.  This is where we got RSVP as the abbreviation for the French expression.  Oui and Non replace Accepts and Regrets on the rsvp card too!

I also love custom stamps on wedding invitations. The black rsvp envelopes have an RSVP with gold stars on a black background. The Eiffel Tower stamps looks like it has gold foil print and gold stars on a night sky.

The design of the Paris invitations all start with the save the date.  It is a tea length invitation of black suede cardstock and silver ink.  So your guests don’t hate you for getting confetti everywhere, we put the save the date and star confetti inside of a clear envelope.
