Purple and Gold Wedding Invitations and Day of Stationery
Purple and Gold Wedding
Samantha and Michael purple and gold wedding was at the Grosse Pointe Academy with a reception following at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit, Michigan. Samantha was a model and rep for a makeup company and color was important to her. She also wanted her invitations to be vintage and ornate to match the look of the Westin Book Cadillac. I designed vintage swirls and ribbons and used three different fonts. Some of the words where on arches and the entire design of their purple and gold wedding invitations matched perfectly – right down to the custom postage stamps.
For their wedding, I used the same vintage swirls on all of the wedding stationery. One of my favorite details for a wedding is custom do not disturb signs for the guests’ doors. Their do not disturb hangers said, “Do Not Disturb – We were up all night partying at Samantha and Michael’s Wedding”.
Purple and gold wedding programs and menus all matched the invitation suite. The programs were a long tea length card printed front and back with a thin ribbon at the top. And the menus look stunning in a pocket napkin with the favor on top wrapped with ribbon. Smaller centerpieces don’t look as small when there are pops of color with the menus and favors.
Finally, a purple and gold wedding seating chart was designed with their vintage monogram. Each letter of the alphabet is highlighted with the vintage brackets.I would like to thank Blaine Siesser Photography for the beautiful images! Congratulations and best wishes to Samantha and Michael!
