Sara + Steven: Pomander Inspired
Sara did not have any definitive ideas for her invitations. She did tell me that they were having an elegant event with touches of whimsy and she wanted her invitations to reflect that. Sara emailed photos for inspiration. The one that caught my eye was the photo of the pomanders hanging over the cake table.
I set out to design a pomander wedding invitation and kept in mind that they should be whimsical at the same time. I typically send three proofs to start, but this design was just so perfect, I only sent the one. It was a hit! 
The rsvp cards are whimsical too with the pink envelopes.
I designed the reception card with three pomanders hanging from a swirl at the top of the pink card.
Custom maps were also designed.
The outer envelopes have one single pomander that hangs over the top flap and connects to the return address.
