Save the dates are so fun design because they tend to me just that – fun! I loved Torrey’s vintage postcard style invitations with the location of the wedding – The Grove Park Inn.
The second day of my week of Joy highlights her save the dates. Joy loves anything art nouveau and she really wanted something fun and brightly colored for her save the dates. I designed these from an old vintage art nouveau poster.
I love making invitations out of something unexpected – like old vinyl records. When Miranda asked me to make her save the dates as a record album, I jumped at the chance. The wedding was held on the ocean and had a vintage theme. So I designed the label with a vintage beach theme and […]
Since I made my first New Year’s Eve Save the Dates two years ago, it has certainly become my most repeated product. This year was no exception to that and here are two of the save the dates that I did for this New Year’s Eve wedding season. Each save the date is mailed in a clear pouch […]
45RPM Records are so fun as a part of these vintage style save the dates. Miranda wanted something very vintage for the label and I designed these with an vintage beach graphic. The labels were attached to vintage 45 Record albums that are authentic and could be played – if anyone has a record player […]
I decided to post this right smack dab in the middle of “Save the Date” week here at Gourmet Invitations since a new save the date was “in the press”. Last month I was asked for an interview by 944Detroit magazine. They just published their first wedding magazine and I must say, it is really […]
Jennifer fell in love with Christine’s multi-font invitations that I designed last year. She wanted something similar for her save the dates. To do something different for her, I came up with a ton of love phrases to cover the save the date.
Elizabeth is doing a very vintage theme to her invitations and wedding. Her colors are a deep navy and ivory. I designed her save the dates with a vintage sign graphic and used vintage fonts to continue the look of the save the date.
Shannon’s wedding is a destination wedding in wine country in California. She wanted the look of vintage California postcards. The back was designed in the same vintage feel with a banner and vintage fonts. Shannon wanted to mail her “postcards” in envelopes and I did machine calligraphy in matching fonts on her envelopes.
