Destination Wedding Save the DateThis destination wedding save the date was more like a gift for their guests. The wedding was taking place in Charleston, South Carolina and Jessica and Lee wanted their guest to have a special save the date since many would not be able to attend. For their destination wedding save the date, we designed a photo box with their engagement photo. We designed a custom logo with the wedding location and date. The lid of the silk box was screen printed with their logo and opened with their photo in the lid. Inside the boxed save the date, the words, “to Taste, to Travel and to Sip” was printed. For the tasting portion, we added Charleston made salt water taffies. Save the date luggage tags are very popular and we designed these with a vintage Charleston postcard and the location and wedding website on the back. My favorite element of this unique save the date are the handmade sugar cubes. We molded sugar cubes into hearts, stars and flowers in the lavender, brown sugar and white colors. On the back of the cellophane envelopes, we listed the recipe to make sweet tea using the shaped sugar cubes.
