Elizabeth’s Diamond Invitations

At Elizabeth’s consult, she mentioned that she wanted to do a subtle diamond theme for her invitations. We discussed adding a Swarovski Crystal somewhere on the invitations. Over time, we dropped that idea and Elizabeth decided she wanted the diamond more in the way the graphic was presented. When searching for something totally unrelated, I found this gorgeous diamond graphic. I’m not sure how subtle the theme is now though! 😉 I went crazy in a moment of creative overdrive. This is my first silver on black writing and I think you’ll be seeing it more often now. It turned out amazing. My favorite diamond element – the RSVP card. I made it an actual diamond. The RSVP envelopes continued the light on black printing – as does the return address. There is even a little surprise on the back of the guest sash – a little monogram in a diamond. Elizabeth did say no to the zip code on the outer envelopes being inside a diamond. I guess a girl has to draw the line somewhere. 😉 Thanks Elizabeth – I truly love the surprises on every single element of this invitation and I hope your guests do too. 🙂
