For Francine and Arielle’s destination wedding on a cruise ship and Ocho Rios, I designed these very fun items – custom water bottle labels and hang tags for the guests doors with dry erase material!
Francine’s cruise wedding invitations were inspired from vintage cruise ship brochure. Each cruise wedding invitation opened like a brochure and had all of the travel details and map route. The rsvp cards were tear off tickets and everything was bundled together with twine and pretty hang tag. Images by Kristen Taylor Photography.
Darren and Courtney were married at Les Zygomates in Boston. Their wedding reception was in bright colors of tangerine, deep red and navy blue. The color scheme was picked from the French vintage posters that are all around the wine bar. I created many items for their reception. My first favor boxes with custom monogram […]
I always thought it would be difficult to design something for myself. When I design invitations, I always have the client in mind, so I’ve always wondered what I would actually design for myself. Well, I found out when I designed these laser cut invitations for a party that I had at my home back […]
Shannon’s wedding is a destination wedding in wine country in California. She wanted the look of vintage California postcards. The back was designed in the same vintage feel with a banner and vintage fonts. Shannon wanted to mail her “postcards” in envelopes and I did machine calligraphy in matching fonts on her envelopes.
If you have followed my blog for more a long time, you may remember that I revealed the story behind the name “Gourmet Invitations”. If you are a new reader, you find that story here. This year was my New Year’s Eve to make another gourmet dinner. I prepared seven courses of food over three […]
This invitation suite combined two of my favorite design features – letterpress and my custom gatefolds. Arielle loved the vintage look of letterpress and we combined it with cream, gold and lots of burgundy. The invitation is designed with vintage scrolls and printed in a matching burgundy ink. The outside of the gatefold was held […]
Teresa is another one of my former brides that has recently asked me to design invitations for them. I was given complete design authority on these and Teresa didn’t see them until I sent them off to her. The shower colors are green, orange and pink. Knowing Teresa’s “black and white” style, I designed these […]
I’ve had this invitation in my archives for weeks waiting to blog. When Katrina saw Nicole’s Newberry Library Invitations she knew that they were perfect for their wedding. Books were a huge part of Katrina and Stephen’s life and even though the wedding will be in wine country in California, books will be a huge […]
Lauren and Jillian were married the beginning of the month. The gorgeous venue was Les Zygomates Wine Bar and Bistro in Boston and you may remember her French Poster inspired wedding invitations. I was thrilled to do all of the stationery for the event! Square red programs Square red menus that laid on top of […]
