Typography Letterpress Invitations
These typography letterpress invitations have three colors on the invitations! They are printed with lavender, slate grey, and also no color – or blind debossed. The typography (the layout and use of fonts) is so much fun. The first names are in all caps and that layout became the monogram for their wedding. Sana and Brent’s last names are blind debossed. We have a closeup view of the invitation to make that easier to see below.
Sana’s typography letterpress invitations are also edge painted with the same lavender ink as the invitations. Small details like this all add up to beautiful invitations.
Another feature that we can do with custom invitations is to customize each rsvp card. You can see below that each guest’s name was printed on the response card. Each guest chose their meal choice. When you put each guest’s name on the response card, this takes away any chance of guests you didn’t invite showing up at your wedding.
Including other invitations in your invitation suite is perfect when there are other events. Sana and Brent had a Nikah ceremony two days before the wedding. A brunch invitation is also included for the day after party.
Finally, the outer envelopes are addressed with the same typography. There are four different fonts and each envelope was laid out to look designed with the length of the guest’s names.
