Fishing Birthday Invitations
Heather and Mike are our clients from a million years ago. We still love their wedding invitations, wedding reception items, and even their rehearsal and brunch invitations. Heather asked us to design fishing birthday invitations for Mike’s 40th and we couldn’t wait for the chance to work with her again.
The invitations are three layers of cardstock – navy, lime, and white. The design is fun and full of character with teal, navy, and lime fish. Flag banners and stars along with lines and dots separate each section of the invitation. Response information and the location are separated at the bottom with two spatulas! Addressing envelopes always completes the design. Etiquette says envelopes should be hand written. Etiquette-shm-etiquette! If you can have envelopes addressed like this, there is no way Emily Post would suggest hand addressing. Each address is teal and navy blue with a cute flag banner and two fish. The same dots and lines frame the addresses on the white envelopes.
FUN SIDE NOTE: The blue fish in the photo is a chopstick rest from Tifany’s foodie dish collection.
